Each construction site has its own challenges, and working with a variety of materials requires a tool that can adapt. The RECA UNICON HEX multi-purpose drill bit is the ultimate solution for tradespeople who value precision, versatility and efficiency.
Precise drilling is very easy with the drill bit's centring geometry. The finely ground, sharp, high-performance carbide tip of the UNICON HEX multi-purpose drill bit ensures clean and fast penetration into the material. Thanks to the optimised flute, drilling is even faster and more efficient. Whether you need to drill wood, metal, plastic or even concrete - this drill bit is perfect for it!
Application area:
Use in impact drills and cordless drills in a wide variety of materials
- For rotary and impact use in impact drills and cordless
drill/drivers.
- On medium-hard tiles with reduced speed, drill approx. 400-600 rpm.
- Allows for drilling in vertically perforated bricks with no cavity web breakage.
- Ideal for interior finishing and renovation; ideal for cordless drill/drivers, since up to 40 % more holes can be drilled per battery charge.
Field of Application:
- Medium-hard tiles and ceramics, masonry e.g. brick, sandstone, clinker brick, concrete (impact up to C 20/25).
- Wood e.g. soft wood and hard wood.
- Chipboard.
- Sandwich elements e.g. window frames.
- Plastics, metal (max. 3 mm) e.g. iron, aluminium, copper.
Advantages:
Hexagon shank
- Safe connection for three-jaw drill chuck so it does not spin.
- Maximum power transmission from the power tool to the drill bit.
- Flexibility in selecting the tool. Can be used with both a conventional drill with
a three-jaw drill chuck and with an impact driver with ¼ inch hexagon-socket tool holder
- Precision drilling with centring geometry
- Finely ground, sharp, high-performance carbide tip
- The carbide plate is diamond ground and offers universal use
- The robust drill head allows it to be used for impact applications
- Optimised flute for fast and efficient drilling
Advice:
Use impact mode when drilling in concrete, stone and solid block. Use rotary mode when drilling in metal, steel, wood and plastic as well as brittle materials such as hollow bricks and ceramic tiles.
When applied correctly, cooling can help extend the life of your drill bit but it is not required. When drilling in hard stone, we recommend that you allow the drill bit to cool after each hole.
