Neutral-curing 1-component RTV silicone
Field of Application:
arecal RTV silicone is typically used as an adhesive and sealant, wherever warm and cold surfaces have to be bonded or sealed, or where components need to be protected from external influences (vibrations, impact, water, chemicals).
Typical applications include:
Bonding and sealing in household appliance manufacture (e.g. ovens, ceramic hobs), sealing electronic components (e.g. rechargeable battery packs), sealing engine components (e.g. intake systems, oil pumps, oil sumps, camshaft bearing covers, transmission covers, front covers).
Advantages:
- Practically odourless
- Non-corrosive
- High temperature resistance
- Very good chemical resistance
- Very workable thanks to propellant charge
