They have increase leg lengths so that all widths can take up to a 250mm deep joist.

Advice:
Ensure the back plate of the hanger sits flat against the timber.
Joist should be square cut and sit tight to the back of the hanger.
Fix the joist in every hole with 3.75 x 30 galvanised square twist nails
