Please note Length refers in this instance to the length of the hanger when laid flat.

Ensure the back plate of the hanger sits flat against the wall and is securely fixed.
A minimum of three block courses (675mm) must be constructed above the hanger before the joist is loaded.
Nail the side flanges with 3.75 x 30 galvanised square twist nails.
Allow enough time for the mortar to cure before any load is applied.
Maximum gap between the wall and joist is 6mm.
Joist should be square cut and sit tight to the back of the hanger.
Hangers 150mm and above are manufactured 10mm less to allow for notching and regularised timber.
All holes should be nailed using 3.75 x 30 square twist nails
